CASE-ing the Catty – Sketch Challenge

Hi there,
Welcome to CASE-ing the Catty for this week.
If you’ve come from visiting Rochelle, then welcome! If you’re visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the button at the bottom of the post.

This week we are CASE-ing one of the sketches from page 24 of the 2025- 2025 Annual Catalogue.

I chose the third sketch from the left on the bottom row for my inspiration. A wreath is a favourite at any time, so couldn’t pass up the opportunity today.

For my card, I have used the Strawberry Slush colorway of the Extraordinary Flora die cuts to create a a pretty wreath. The card base is Strawberry Slush and I added a layer of Basic White dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.

To create a narrow ring, I cropped the 2 largest circles from the Stylish Shapes Dies together. I used it to layer my die cuts on, to create a nice circular shape. A second ring was cropped and the two adhered together to make it robust and it also adds some dimension as you can see from the photo above. The Extraordinary Flora die cuts were positioned around the ring until I was happy with the placement. They were adhered with a small 1mm foam pad on each one, so there is still lots of dimension. Of course, you could make the ring and hence the wreath smaller, if desired.
I stamped the greeting from the (retired) Biggest Wish stamp set in Strawberry Slush ink and fussy cut it, before popping it up on small Dimensionals in the centre of the wreath. I used some (retired) Garden Green Baker’s twine for the bow at the top of the wreath and finished with a trio of the gorgeous 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.

For the inside I have a double mat for a change. The base white layer is the same size as the front of the card and I sized the next layers down from there. I added some more Extraordinary Flora die cuts to embellish the writing panel.
